With the recent expansion of unregulated television advertising for sports wagering, there is a notable lack of messaging addressing the potential harms to consumers. This workshop will first review existing advertising produced by the gambling industry, followed by a presentation of commercials created by the presenters. These will be compared and contrasted with current industry messaging strategies. The session will include a panel discussion with active audience participation, evaluating the effectiveness and impact of the commercials.
