
Christina M. Pacheco, JD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health with a secondary appointment in Population Health. She earned her JD from William Mitchell College of Law and her MPH from the University of Kansas Medical Center and is pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD in bioinformatics and public administration at UMKC. With more than 14 years in public health and 16 years in policy and law, her work focuses on culturally tailored interventions addressing tobacco use, environmental health, nutrition, and physical activity. Her research centers on health inequities affecting Indigenous, Latino, and rural communities through community-engaged approaches.
