
Dr. William G. McCown is a licensed clinical psychologist and professor with over 45 years in mental health, currently serving as Coordinator of Psychology Programs at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He has treated problem gamblers since the 1990s and specializes in neurodiversity and gambling risk. Dr. McCown has co-authored two books on gambling treatment, hosted a mental health radio show, and speaks nationally on AI and mental health. He also serves as President of the Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling and co-authored the first volume on political polarization in counseling.
