
Sushmita Upadhaya joined the National Council on Problem Gambling in May 2016. Holding a Public Health degree from the University of the District of Columbia, she serves as the Helpline Infrastructure Manager. In this role, she oversees key programs like the National Problem Gambling Helpline⢠(1-800-MY-RESET) , managing its daily operations with a focus on data analysis and reporting. Sushmita is also responsible for developing and managing the Call for Presentations for the annual national conference. A native of Nepal, Sushmita is fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali.
