
Stephen has worked with problem gamblers and substance users for over 40 years, accumulating more than 35,000 clinical hours. For many years, he worked at the Gamblers Treatment Center, the first state-funded outpatient program in New York State. He is a founding member and current President of the Board of Directors of the New York Council on Problem Gambling. Stephen has conducted seminars and given presentations throughout the United States and trained other treatment professionals seeking certification. He is a person with over 50 years of abstinence and regularly attends Gamblers Anonymous meetings.
