Dr. Jim Whelan is a thought leader in the prevention and treatment of gambling problems. As the Executive Director of the Tennessee Institute for Gambling Education and Research and founder of The Gambling Clinic®, Jim has built programs that combine research, education, and real-world treatment to support those affected by gambling. He has authored over 120 academic publications and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Gambling Studies.
