Elizabeth Childress, MSW, IGRS, CPRS-PG, advances peer recovery support within problem gambling treatment and responsible gambling efforts. Her work focuses on expanding access to recovery support, strengthening referral pathways, and collaborating with treatment providers, prevention partners, and community stakeholders across systems of care statewide and in rural communities. She has presented at national, state, and regional conferences, including the Virginia Summer Institute for Addiction Studies, with a focus on peer recovery support, research, workforce development, and bridging lived experience with behavioral health practice in problem gambling services.
