A National Study to Uncover Help-Seeking Barriers for Problem Gambling

The presentation will highlight findings indicating that help seekers—those who pursue support—tend to be more concerned about the potential consequences of problem gambling, whereas non-help seekers exhibit a higher threshold before seeking assistance. It will further explore how, beyond general awareness, non-help seekers require additional support to understand the impacts of problem gambling and to recognize that meaningful change is possible.
