
Dr. Abeni El-Amin is a nationally recognized public health strategist and President of Project Ricochet, Inc., known for advancing culturally responsive prevention models in behavioral health and gambling harm reduction. She holds multiple advanced degrees and professional credentials, including Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB), Community Health Worker (CCHW), and International Gambling Counselor Certification (IGCC-I). Dr. El-Amin leads innovative initiatives such as the KY Barbershop and Beauty Salon Initiative and “Bet On You! Reclaim Your Power,” integrating trusted community spaces with evidence-based prevention strategies.
