Conference Scholarships

NCPG offers a variety of scholarships to provide greater access to education for the problem gambling and responsible gambling field. We remain committed to providing as much assistance as we can to keep registration fees and travel costs from being a barrier to conference attendance.

Diversity in Leadership Scholarship

The Diversity in Leadership Conference Scholarships are designed to recognize individuals who are from underrepresented backgrounds and have demonstrated exemplary promise as future leaders in the problem gambling and responsible gambling fields.

Scholarship Award Types

  • Main Conference Registration (Columbus, OH, July 17-18, 2025)
  • Main Conference Registration + travel and lodging stipend of $550 (Columbus, OH, July 17-18, 2025)
  • Travel and lodging stipend of $550 – Available for NCPG Conference Lead Presenters who have already received complimentary main conference registration (Columbus, OH, July 17-18, 2025)

Application Evaluation Criteria

  • Applicant self-identifies as a member of an underrepresented community.
  • Demonstrated applicant need as reflected in the application.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential as reflected in the application.
  • Interest in problem gambling or responsible gambling issues as reflected in the application.

Reinforcing Resilience Scholarship

The Reinforcing Resilience Conference Scholarships are designed to recognize individuals who identify as Native American and have demonstrated exemplary promise as future leaders in the problem gambling and responsible gambling fields.

Scholarship Award Types

  • Main Conference Registration (Columbus, OH, July 17-18, 2025)
  • Main Conference Registration + travel and lodging stipend of $550 (Columbus, OH, July 17-18, 2025)
  • Travel and lodging stipend of $550 – Available for NCPG Conference Lead Presenters who have already received complimentary main conference registration (Columbus, OH, July 17-18, 2025)
