Terry Quiñones earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a focus on Community Health Education from California State University, Long Beach. She is dedicated to working with Latino communities to address concerns related to substance abuse. Terry believes that everyone has the ability to make a positive difference in their community, with a primary goal of reducing language barriers across Oregon. In addition to her primary job responsibilities, she has pursued certification as a Community Health Worker. Currently, she serves as a coordinator for her county, managing substance abuse prevention and problem gambling prevention strategies. Her professional background includes utilizing evidence-based approaches to develop programs that meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and communities.
