Dr. Stephanie Diez-Morel is an associate professor of graduate social work at Pennsylvania Western University. In 2013, she founded Reboot & Recover, a nonprofit organization through which she has established education, prevention curriculum, treatment, and research on gaming disorder and other technology-based behaviors for youth, adults, and families. Dr. Diez-Morel utilizes her expertise to serve as the Vice President of the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board (IGCCB) and is a leader in developing the first International Gaming Disorder Certification. Dr. Diez-Morel is the co-lead for the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) Gaming Disorder Taskforce.
