Mark Vander Linden, MSW

Mark Vander Linden is the Director of Research and Responsible Gaming for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. He manages an extensive research agenda to advance an understanding of impacts of gambling, as well as working collaboratively with operators and other stakeholders to build a sustainable, accountable and socially responsible industry in Massachusetts. Mark was previously the Executive Officer of the Office of Problem Gambling Treatment and Prevention, Iowa Department of Public Health. He serves on the Board of Directors of the International Center for Responsible Gaming and received his Masters degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
