In today’s digital age, social media and online platforms have become essential tools for reaching individuals seeking help for gambling problems. This workshop explores the power of curated videos in attracting and engaging “clients” – those who are experiencing gambling-related harms. Participants will compare and contrast the use of videos about professional self, lived experience, and public advocacy. A lot of these approaches are already being used in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health space, where clinicians are showing up for their clients online and adding value to their journey even before the clients reach out for help.
Pre-Conference workshop registration is required to attend this session, it is not included in general conference registration.
