As a disordered gambler in recovery, Mike Sciandra is passionate about sharing his story of addiction with others. He uses his experiences to give back in a manner similar to the ways he has been blessed. Currently, Mike serves as an Education and Outreach Coordinator for Choices Treatment Center in Nebraska, where he shares his recovery story, providing resources for problem gambling treatment, and serves as a community advocate. To compliment his educational and professional experience in marketing and leadership, Mike has taken coursework to obtain his Disordered Gambling Counselor Certification and is a Certified Peer Support Specialist.
