Carin Miller – Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and Registered Peer Supervisor with the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling. She advocates for recovery statewide, guiding individuals impacted by gambling addiction and connecting them to treatment and resources. Since 2010, Carin has championed recovery efforts statewide, leading one of Maryland’s longest-running peer support groups, and co-founding a non-profit in 2015, supporting families who have challenges with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders. Her initiatives provide essentials like food, housing, clothing, transportation, and funding for dentures, reflecting her unwavering commitment to helping people overcome addiction and rebuild their lives.
