Alia Lucas serves as the Gambling Disorder Program Specialist at Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, has 13 years of experience in contract and program management and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. Alia effectively manages the Michigan Problem Gambling Helpline offering crisis intervention, and referrals to treatment services and/or support groups. Beyond helpline management, she spearheads the implementation of Gambling Disorder Prevention services and propels the expansion of outreach initiatives. These initiatives extend to specialized populations, including youth/young adults, veterans, and tribal communities, reflecting her commitment to addressing gambling disorders across diverse demographics.
